I promised to continue the “Intuition Series”. I am
currently working on that one.
In the meantime, here is one important step to add. Stay
tuned for more to come.
It is important to have reliable resources to help us decode
symbols that show up in our dreams, meditations and visions.
The Universe will communicate with you in a language that
you can learn to understand. Don’t discard a vision just because you aren’t
quite sure of its significance yet. Remember the saying, one picture is worth a
thousand words. Be curious and play detective. The more you practice the more
fluid you will become, until it becomes second nature to know what your
intuition is telling you.
When it comes to symbols, we need to distinguish between
personal symbolism and universal symbolism.
A personal symbol will only make sense to you.
For example, if you see a white cat in a dream or vision and
you don’t recognize the cat, you would research the meaning of the color white
and the meaning of cat.
If the cat turns out to be Fluffy and is your favorite
companion in the world, the meaning changes dramatically. You have to ask
yourself in the context of your vision, who is Fluffy? What are Fluffy’s
characteristics? Is the information about Fluffy or is Fluffy being used as a
symbol?
The same is true, if you’re shown objects, locations, situations
that have a unique meaning to you.
Play with the pieces of the puzzle until they fit and you
pick-up a resonance of truth and coherent meaning out of it.
Be willing to be patient and have fun with it.
One good website I recommend for decoding symbols is:
I suggest adding a few books that feel right to you, so you
can compare.
More to follow on this topic soon.
