Learn To Hold The Frequency

I find one of the great opportunities in the modern world to spiritually evolve is to practice holding the frequency no matter what.
Look at situations in your life, where you feel that your mood and your well-being depend on your external circumstances. You bounce around like a cork in the ocean with no land in sight.
Do you feel like you could live a more peaceful life, if you lived in nature vs. the city?
Do you think you would be less snappy in your relationships, if the people you are dealing with could just get it right?
Would you be more content, if planet earth wasn't so chaotic?
Might you be willing to forgive, if the other person just apologized first?
The list is endless. Time and time again, we might be caught in a reactive mode, where we are waiting for the outside world to adjust first. Like a chameleon we mimic the frequencies around us instead of staying true to ourselves.

Now imagine what life could be like, if you start holding the frequency no matter what.
A person in your life tries to provoke you; instead of getting angry and engaging in the game, you stay calm and firm, and if necessary walk away undisturbed, because you realize that it really wasn't your issue.
If you reach a state of enlightenment, the noise of the city wouldn't have the power to pull you out of alignment. Once you realize that, you can choose to  take every challenging situation as an opportunity to learn your spiritual lesson.
So instead of giving your power away to the outside, you learn to live from the inside out. Is it always easy to get there? Of course not, otherwise we'd all have graduated a long time ago.
But from my experience it does get easier, and allows for many more moments of peace throughout the day.

Awareness and willingness are important keys to practice and remember you are here, because your soul wanted to learn and evolve. The process isn't always fun, but I can guarantee that in the end it will all have been worthwhile.

Who Are You Competing With?

It is in most people's nature to compare and to compete. Many times we compete with siblings, peers, people that have chosen the same profession or sport. At times, we compete souls we recognize from the past and who we have determined to be equals in some fashion.
Now if you zoom out the camera you can see that there is no equal starting line (also read "Discernment Every Contract Is Different"). Everybody has a different astrological chart, a different karmic contract, different DNA and different ways to responding to the challenges at hand. As an old soul it might be time to leave the playing field of competition behind and start to focus on doing the best that you can by being motivated from the heart. As long as you attach your ego to a comparative outcome, you will be stuck in an endless cycle of winning and losing while your self -esteem goes on a rollercoaster ride that might last centuries.
"I won! I am worthy! Oh no, I lost! I don't deserve, but maybe next time…got to win!"
Are you ready to bow out of the competitions in your life and to bless your competitors on their journey? Are you ready to let them have the last trophy and be thankful for everything you have learned while competing?
If you are, you might be a big step closer to peace and acceptance of your true self.
If you are not, never mind, there are still plenty of wonderful lessons to be learned, while competing, just remember it's not the end game.
